Disciple Liberates His Own Guru

January 1, 2011 | Guru and Disciple

Question: Requesting to clear a doubt from the following quotation: "This incident proves that the siksa- or diksa-guru who has a disciple who strongly executes devotional service like Dhruva Maharaja can be carried by the disciple even though the instructor is not as advanced." (SB 4.12.33 Purport) As far as I understand, a bona fide diksa-guru is a liberated soul (saksad-dharitvena samasta sastrair…). So how can he be liberated by his disciple?
